After working in local government administration for about 30 years, I wanted to pursue non-fiction writing as an avocation which would, hopefully, become a second career. So, I created this web site as a place to show prospective clients what I am capable of - and, also, to share my research and thoughts with those who might have an interest.
While the views expressed here will seem to take a "left of center" perspective, I will, occasionally, take on a conservative bent. My lack of consistency is reflective of my belief that neither the right, nor the left, nor any group in between, has a monopoly on correctness and, further, that the expression of differing perspectives is the only way humans have for approximating what is true.
